Sensory Profile

A self-exploration tool for mapping your eight sensory channels — threshold, response, preferences, and triggers

🔒 Your privacy: This tool runs entirely in your browser. No responses are transmitted, stored, or seen by anyone — not by this server, not by the tool creator, not by any third party. Nothing leaves your device. When you close this page, all data is gone. This is a read-only HTML file with no backend.
⚠ This is not a diagnostic tool — please read before you begin This is for self-reflection and exploration only. It won't produce a clinical score, and it isn't a substitute for a formal evaluation like the Adolescent/Adult Sensory Profile administered by an occupational therapist. Think of it as a structured way to notice patterns you can bring into a conversation — with yourself, a partner, or a professional.

This tool walks you through your eight sensory channels — sight, sound, touch, taste, smell, vestibular (movement), proprioception (body position), and interoception (internal signals) — plus a bonus page on environment, clothing, and social context. It uses threshold-and-response scoring built on Winnie Dunn's four-quadrant model of sensory processing, alongside a detailed preference and trigger checklist for each channel, adapted with credit from Dr. Megan Anna Neff's Complete Adult Sensory Checklist at Neurodivergent Insights.

Takes about 12–15 minutes. Ratings are required; checklists and notes are optional. Go with your gut on the first pass — you can always retake it later and see how your shape shifts.
